Another line is designed for the production of ice.

The owner of BFI, Oleh Mishchenko, noted that the Ukrainian manufacturer currently employs more than 600 employees.
At the same time, the new production is aimed at covering not only the domestic market, but also exports: the company plans to export up to 30% of its products.
According to Mishchenko, the construction of the plant in Khust is part of the company's updated global development strategy.
As part of the strategy, Bakery Food Investment also invested UAH 160 million in the modernization of the plant in Kozelets (Chernihiv Region), which allowed it to increase capacity by 25%.
Bakery Food Investment is one of the leading manufacturers of frozen bakery products in Ukraine.
It produces a wide range of products, including mini-bagels, hot dogs and cinnabons, which are widely represented in Ukrainian markets, and are also exported to 15 countries, including the US, Georgia, Turkey and European countries.
BFI uses shock freezing technology, which allows products to be stored at -18°C for a year without loss of quality.
The company also abandoned the use of trans fats, which makes the products suitable for consumption by children.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in June 2025, consumer prices increased by 0.8%.
According to the State Statistics Service, prices for bread and bread products increased by 17.9% over the year, and by 5.3% since the beginning of 2025.
