Russia preparing to increase scale of strikes on Ukraine this fall - ISW
The aggressor state of russia is increasing the production of missiles and drones, which will allow the enemy to carry out increasingly large-scale strikes on Ukraine this fall.
This was reported by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Having analyzed the latest night attacks by the russian federation on Ukraine, ISW analysts emphasized that the russian military used a denser concentration of missiles during recent strikes. The Institute also drew attention to reports indicating that the russian defense industry is increasing its capabilities for the production of missiles and drones.
"The increase in the production of missiles and drones in russia will likely allow russia to continue to carry out increasingly large-scale strikes on Ukraine in the fall of 2025," the report says.
In addition, ISW previously estimated that russian forces could be able to strike Ukraine with up to 2,000 drones in one night by November 2025, if the current trend of increasing the number of russian drones used at night continues.
"The increasing number of russian attacks underscore the critical importance of Western assistance in strengthening Ukraine's air defense capabilities, in particular with the help of American Patriot air defense systems that can effectively counter russian ballistic missile threats," the analysts stressed.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Yurii Ihnat, head of the communications department of the Ukrainian Air Force, previously responded to the assessment of German Major General Christian Freuding about the possibility of the simultaneous use of up to 2,000 strike drones by the aggressor state of russia, calling for careful commenting on the issue.
