US will support Zelenskyy in line with his commitment to fighting corruption - Senator Blumenthal

American Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal, co-author of the bill on new sanctions against russia, responded to mass protests in Ukraine against the scandalous law regarding the independence of anti-corruption bodies.

Blumenthal wrote about this on the social network X.

The senator said that Ukrainians are demonstrating "democracy in action".

"I hope Zelenskyy will continue to show transparency & anti-corruption commitment. His credibility & support depend on it," he emphasized.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, US President Donald Trump said that Zelenskyy's meeting with putin was supposed to take place 3 months ago.
