Co-owner of Kvartal 95 Tymur Mindich left for Austria - media

Businessman Tymur Mindich, who is co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio and a longtime acquaintance of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is in Austria.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to its own sources.

Mindich, according to the publication, is a person involved in the investigation of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) into alleged embezzlement of state funds. Ukrainian Pravda previously wrote about the preparation of suspicions against him, citing sources in anti-corruption agencies. At the same time, NABU Director Semen Kryvonos, when asked directly about Mindich, did not confirm, but did not deny this information either, stating that the bureau reports on suspicions only after their official announcement.

Mindich himself does not publicly comment on the situation. Some MPs link the possible presentation of suspicion to political pressure on NABU - they say, this may be related to the consideration of a bill that threatens the independence of anti-corruption bodies.

Journalist Mykhailo Tkach recalled Mindich's long-standing ties with the President. In 2021, in particular, he recorded the celebration of Zelenskyy's birthday in one of the apartments in the center of Kyiv owned by Mindich. The President then explained that he celebrated in his own home, which is simply located in the same building.

At the same time, MP Oleksii Honcharenko claims that the wiretapping of Tymur Mindich's apartment was carried out from the apartment of his neighbor, the oligarch and former co-owner of PrivatBank Hennadii Boholiubov.

"NABU drilled into Mindich from Boholiubov's apartment. His apartment is above Mindich's apartment and from there they were able to drill into and listen to Mindich's apartment. For this help, Boholiubov was taken abroad. The only problem is that they didn't listen for long. A few months," the parliamentarian noted.

As a reminder, sources claimed that the co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio, Tymur Mindich, went to meet with Vice Prime Minister - Minister of National Unity Oleksii Chernyshov, who had gone abroad and was allegedly doubting whether he should return.
