Intelligence officers show how they destroy occupiers in Sumy Region using ground robot Liut
Special units of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine are scaling up the use of ground robotic complexes (GRC) during combat operations. In particular, scouts showed a video of the use of the GRC Liut on their Telegram channel.
As reported, exclusive footage of scouts recorded the use of the GRC Liut on the front in the Sumy Region, as well as radio interception of the reaction of the occupiers after meeting with the machine.
It is noted that the robot armed with a machine gun overcomes difficult terrain areas along with fallen trees and craters from explosions, demonstrates stable communication during movement and transmits a "picture" to the control point.
Having reached enemy positions, Liut destroys russian occupiers with dense machine gun fire. The intelligence officers also emphasize that the created fire suppression point allows maneuvers for other forces and assets involved in the operation.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in March, the Ministry of Defense codified and allowed the domestically produced Liut ground robotic complex to be operated in units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. It is designed to perform a wide range of tasks in difficult conditions, in particular, for conducting surveillance and fire support of the units' actions.
The robot is armed with a 7.62 caliber machine gun and additional equipment, thanks to which it can detect and hit targets both day and night.
The GRC is quite compact - it fits into the body of a military pickup truck, equipped with a silent electric engine. The battery capacity is enough for a long time of operation.
The operator controls the complex from a protected position, without exposing himself to danger.
