Person killed in Kharkiv Region by tree falling in bad weather, several injured

A person was killed and 6 people were injured due to severe bad weather with gusty winds and heavy rains that covered the Kharkiv Region. It was reported by the press service of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv Region.

As of 12 a.m., 171 rescuers and 38 units of equipment were involved in the elimination of the consequences of the bad weather from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. In addition, the local fire brigade of the village of Pisochyn joined the rescue.

Where people were injured from the bad weather:

In the village of Pershotravneve, Chuhuiv District, a 56-year-old woman was killed by a falling tree.

In the Saltivskyi District of Kharkiv, gusts of wind tore off the roof of a private house, 3 people were injured.

In the Osnovyanskyi District, a 7-year-old girl was injured as a result of a falling tree.

In the Shevchenkivskyi District, a man born in 1973 was injured as a result of a tree falling on a car.

A rotating tower crane fell in the Slobidskyi District. No injuries.

In the Kharkiv District, a tree fell on an electric train from Pokotylivka station towards Merefa. There was no information about injuries.
