Trains in Kharkiv Region delayed due to severe weather. How will train schedule change?

Due to severe weather, strong winds and a thunderstorm that has covered the Kharkiv Region, delays are observed in the schedule of a number of suburban and interregional trains of Ukrzaliznytsia.

Ukrzaliznytsia reports this on Telegram.

Thus, it is reported that strong winds and power outages in several settlements are affecting train traffic in the region.

The longest delay is currently on flights No. 65/66 Kharkiv – Uman and No. 165/166 Kharkiv – Cherkasy (+2:28).

So far, the following trains are delayed for departure from Kharkiv:

"We have already brought out reserve diesel locomotives and will go with them to Merefa, after which we will catch up with the schedule. No flights have been canceled, we continue to operate," the message says.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 8, Ukrzaliznytsia warned of significant delays in 6 flights to and from European cities due to bad weather in Hungary and Slovakia.

In addition, the checkpoint on the border with Hungary was closed due to bad weather.
