Ukrainian farmers harvested over 2.5 million grains and legumes of new harvest
Ukrainian farmers have harvested over 2.5 million grains and legumes of the new harvest.
This is stated in a message from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The message states that as of July 11, 2025, 919,900 hectares and 2,620,700 tons of early grain and leguminous crops have already been threshed in Ukraine.
In particular, wheat – 434,800 hectares were threshed, 1,238,700 tons were threshed; barley – 364,000 hectares were threshed, 1,153,700 tons were threshed; peas – 119,700 hectares were threshed, 225,100 tons were threshed.
In general, farmers in 18 regions are already harvesting.
Among the leaders, in particular: Odesa – 353,000 hectares have been threshed, 1,029,500 tons have been threshed; Mykolaiv – 261,900 hectares have been threshed, 651,500 tons have been threshed; Dnipropetrovsk – 119,200 hectares have been threshed, 283,000 tons have been threshed.
Rapeseed is being harvested in 9 regions.
290,100 tons have already been harvested on an area of 178,900 hectares.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukrainian farmers are approaching the harvest of the first million tons of grain of the new harvest.
As of July 4, 2025, 331,900 hectares have already been threshed in Ukraine and 865,700 tons have been threshed of early grain and legume crops.
In 2025, farmers planned to sow more than 5.7 million hectares of spring grain and legume crops, which corresponds to the level of 2024.
The main feature of the new season was the increase in the area under spring wheat to 227,500 hectares.
