Rescuers show how they extinguished fire near CHPP in Kyiv
The rescue service extinguished a fire in a cabin that caught fire in the Desnianskyi District of Kyiv. This is stated in a message of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in Kyiv on Sunday, July 6.
The fire occurred on Pukhivska Street in the Desnianskyi District of the capital. Rescuers received a report about it at 4:13 p.m.
"A cabin caught fire in an open area, with the subsequent spread of the fire to a nearby technical facility. The fire was extinguished at 5:11 p.m.on an area of 100 sq. m," the message says.
25 rescuers and 5 units of basic and special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 6, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that a tank with fuel and lubricants exploded in the hangar of a commercial enterprise in the capital near CHPP-6.
