Polish Consulate damaged in night strike on Kyiv – Sikorski

The Polish Consulate building in Kyiv was damaged in a massive attack by the aggressor country, the russian federation, on the night of Friday, July 4.

The head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Radosław Sikorski, has reported this on X.

He noted that he had spoken with the Ambassador to Ukraine, Piotr Łukasiewicz, who reported that all employees of the consular department were targets.

"President Trump, Putin is mocking your peace efforts. Please resume the supply of anti-aircraft ammunition to Ukraine and introduce new tough sanctions against the aggressor," Sikorski addressed the US President.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Friday, July 4, Kyiv was subjected to a powerful combined attack by russia. The occupiers first attacked the capital with a large number of kamikaze drones, and at about 2 a.m. they launched several ballistic missiles. The shelling caused fires and injured people.

The greatest damage was recorded in the Solomianskyi and Sviatoshynskyi Districts of the capital.

Also in Kyiv, five ambulances that were going to the injured were damaged due to the russian shelling.
