AFU hit russian command post in Donetsk Region
On June 30, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully struck a command post of the 8th combined arms army of the aggressor country, russia, in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk Region. This is stated in a message by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday, July 1.
Thanks to the high-precision strike on the command post, it will be much more difficult for the russian occupiers to plan and conduct operations in the direction of Pokrovsk and Toretsk in the Donetsk Region. The enemy's losses after the hit are currently being clarified.
"The Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to consistently destroy the command and communication system of the aggressor country's armed forces. Ukraine continues to fight until all russian troops are withdrawn from the territory of our state and a just and lasting peace is established," the General Staff emphasized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in the first half of 2025, the sanitary and irreversible losses of the russian army personnel amounted to 230,180 soldiers, which is equal to the number of more than 19 divisions.
On June 27, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, struck the Marinovka airfield in the Volgograd Oblast of the aggressor country russia.
