In June, russian advance was largest since beginning of year, occupying 556 square kilometers — DeepState
In June, the army of the aggressor country russia occupied 556 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory. The first month of summer was the worst in terms of the invaders' advance since the beginning of the year.
The analytical project DeepState reported this on Tuesday, July 1.
The invaders captured the largest amount of territory on the Novopavlivka (29%) and Pokrovsk (27%) axes, as well as in the north of the Sumy Region (18%).
"That is, three quarters of all advances were in three places. The last quarter falls on other sections of the front in almost equal proportions," the report says.
According to analysts, the advance of the invaders is associated with a shortage of personnel in the ranks of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. It is noted that the invaders are also experiencing a similar problem.
The russians have begun to use heavy equipment less in their assaults on Ukrainian positions. Now they give more preference to motorcycles, buggies and other automotive equipment.
DeepState also drew attention to the fact that assault actions by the russians with the forces of only a few people have become commonplace. At the same time, the number of such groups with the enemy remains significant.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today, July 1, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that during June, air defense forces managed to shoot down 4,750 air targets launched by the russians in Ukraine.
And according to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, since the beginning of the year, the russian occupation army has lost more than 19 divisions of personnel and 8,000 artillery systems.
