4 people killed and 17 injured in enemy attack in Samar, Dnipropetrovsk Region

On Friday, June 27, at around 11:00 a.m., russian occupation troops attacked the city of Samar (Novomoskovsk until September 2024) in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, resulting in 4 people killed and 17 injured.

"Samar. Three people have already been killed due to an enemy attack. 14 people have been injured. This is the information for now. The data is being clarified," he wrote at 12:27 p.m.

Later, at 1:07 p.m., Lysak supplemented the information with a new number of killed and injured. "The death toll in the city of Samar has risen to four. 17 people were injured. The strike was probably carried out by a ballistic missile, since it was at this time that the Air Forces reported the threat of the use of ballistic weapons from the southeast.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the morning of June 24, the russian army attacked the city of Dnipro with ballistic missiles.

As a result of the hits, residential buildings, several dormitories, educational and medical institutions, and facilities of the State Emergency Service were damaged; one of the missiles hit next to a passenger train traveling along the Odesa-Zaporizhzhia route.

The neighboring city of Samar (formerly Novomoskovsk) was also hit by the invaders.

In total, 22 people were killed in Dnipro and Samar, 304 were injured.

The Dnipropetrovsk Region declared a day of mourning in connection with the tragedy on June 25.

At the same time, the aggressor country russia tried to deflect responsibility for the ballistic strike on the civilian infrastructure of Dnipro by claiming that damage was caused by the work of Ukrainian air defense.
