Air defense neutralizes 78 of 97 enemy drones at night

On the night of Tuesday, June 24, russian troops launched 97 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize 78 of them: 63 were shot down, another 15 drones were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare means.

This was announced by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of June 24 (from 10:00 pm on June 23), the enemy attacked with 97 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Oryol, Millerovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - RF, Chauda - TOT Crimea.

"As of 08:00 am, air defenses neutralized 78 enemy Shahed UAVs (drones of other types) in the east, south and north of the country. 63 were shot down by fire weapons, 15 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare," the report said.

Enemy strike UAVs were recorded in 6 locations.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of June 23, russian troops launched 368 air attack vehicles over the territory of Ukraine, 354 of which were neutralized by air defenses: 158 were shot down by fire weapons, 196 were lost in location.
