"While Putin talks about strikes in the Middle East, Russia rejects U.S. peace efforts in Europe and continues the killing in Ukraine. Putin deliberately launches such brutal attacks to make America appear weak," the report said.

He said the only way to end russian terror is through force. He stressed the need for new and tough sanctions on the russian economy and oil revenues, as well as secondary sanctions against those who help russia wage war.

In addition, he added, Ukraine needs additional defense capabilities, especially air defense and interceptors, artillery ammunition, and investments in Ukrainian defense production.

"This week is a week of important summits. And they must produce important results. We don’t have time to wait. It is time to show transatlantic unity and strength," he summed up.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of June 23, the aggressor state russia attacked Ukraine with 368 air attack means, including 11 ballistic and 5 cruise missiles. Air defense forces neutralized 354 targets, including 7 ballistic missiles and all cruise missiles. The main direction of the enemy's attack was Kyiv. Direct hits were recorded in 6 locations.

As a result of the night attack by the aggressor state russia on Kyiv, significant destruction was recorded in residential and administrative buildings, as well as deaths. In the Shevchenkivskyi District of Kyiv, the death toll has risen to 6, with 6 victims of the attack currently reported.
