Occupiers capture one settlement and advance near two more in Pokrovsk Axis - DeepState

Analysts of the Ukrainian DeepState project claim that the army of the aggressor country of russia has achieved success in the Pokrovsk area of the ​​Donetsk Region. The occupiers allegedly managed to capture one settlement.

DeepState analysts reported this in their Telegram channel on Friday, June 20.

According to OSINT analysts, the occupiers have established full control over the settlement of Shevchenko Pershe.

Russian troops have also advanced near the settlements of Novoolenivka and Malynivka.

All three of the above-mentioned settlements are located near the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka highway. Along it, they are trying to flank the Ukrainian Defense Forces group defending Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, as well as move towards Kostiantynivka.

At the time of publication, the Ukrainian Defense Forces did not confirm or deny the information published by OSINT analysts.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in early June, analysts from the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) stated in a commentary to RBC-Ukraine that Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk Region would be the target of the first stage of the summer offensive campaign of the russian army.

Recall, the day before, the director of the information and consulting company Defense Express, Serhii Zhurets, said that the russian army's offensive would last at least until October.
