Russia increasing its presence in Africa through education and sports programs - Defense Intelligence

The aggressor country of russia is increasing its presence on the African continent, using educational and youth programs as a tool for long-term influence. This was stated by the representative of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andrii Yusov, the press service of the department reports.

"One of the key areas is creating conditions for the formation of an "African elite" loyal to Moscow. To this end, the russian federation consistently maintains quotas in its universities for citizens of African countries at the expense of the state budget. The main areas of training are agriculture, engineering, pedagogy and medicine," the report says.
