On June 8, 159 combat clashes took place on the front, with the enemy attacking most of all on the Pokrovsk (47 clashes) and Kursk (39) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on its page on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile strike using one missile on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, as well as 83 air strikes, in particular, dropping 142 guided bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out 5,661 attacks, 131 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,139 kamikaze drones to strike.
On June 8, 159 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, no combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours.
On the Kupiansk axis, there were 7 attacks by the invaders on the area of Stepova Novoselivka, Hlushkivka, and Zahryzove.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 15 times near the settlements of Hrekivka, Novyi Myr, Ridkodub, Zelena Dolyna and towards Cherneshchyna, Torske, and Serebrianskyi Forest.
On the Siversk axis, the enemy carried out 4 assaults near Hryhorivka, Verkhniokamianske, and Vyimka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, 6 combat clashes were recorded near Bila Hora, Predtechyne, and in the area of Kurdiumivka.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out 19 attacks near Dachne, Dyliivka, Toretsk, and towards Yablunivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the Defense Forces stopped 47 offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Myroliubivka, Malynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Horikhove, Andriivka and in the direction of Myrne, Mykolaivka, Promin, Novoserhiivka, Oleksiivka.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the Defense Forces repelled 19 attacks near the settlements of Bahatyr, Odradne, Rivnopil, Novosilka, Novopil, Vilne Pole and in the direction of Zaporizhzhia, Voskresenka and Shevchenko.
On the Huliaipole axis, 4 attacks were repelled near Malynivka.
On the Orikhiv axis, 3 attacks were repelled in the direction of Novoandriivka and Pavlivka.
On the Dnieper axis, 2 attacks were repelled.
On the Kursk axis (russian federation), units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 39 enemy attacks.
The enemy carried out 13 air strikes here using 25 guided bombs, and also carried out 215 artillery attacks, in particular, 4 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation, missile troops and artillery hit 17 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, three artillery systems, a command and observation post, a UAV control point and an electronic warfare station of the russian invaders.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on June 8 amounted to 970 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 6, 212 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked most of all on the Pokrovsk (77 clashes) and Novopavlivka (24) axes.
