Another prisoner exchange may take place "blindly" - Coordination Headquarters
The next prisoner exchange between Ukraine and russia may take place in a "blind" format.
This was stated by the representative of the Coordination Headquarters for the treatment of prisoners of war, Petro Yatsenko, on the air of a telethon.
According to him, during the previous exchange, the russian side handed over the lists practically at the last moment, which did not allow to look at and check all the people.
Yatsenko noted that "this is such a format of the exchange" and urged not to be critical of it.
"Usually, exchanges are prepared for a long time, carefully, often for months, but this time the exchanges are quick. On the one hand, it imposes certain obligations, and on the other - it is good that our people will return. This is always positive," said the representative of the Coordination Headquarters.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ukrainian side is ready to exchange 500 soldiers, whom russia plans to hand over on Saturday and Sunday, but has not yet received lists for the exchange from the russians, which complicates the process. After the prisoner exchange, preparations will likely be made for the repatriation of the bodies of the fallen soldiers.
