SSU destroys 41 russian military aircraft during Spider’s Web Operation – General Staff
The troops of the aggressor country russia lost 41 military aircraft as a result of the SSU Spider’s Web Operation. This is indicated in a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday, June 3.
The General Staff noted that they conducted verification and collected additional facts indicating the defeat of enemy aircraft. According to confirmed data, the enemy lost 41 military aircraft.
"ATTENTION! Updated statistics on the defeat of enemy aircraft at Russian military airfields as a result of the special operation of the Security Service of Ukraine on 01.06.2025. After processing additional information from various sources and its verification, which took some time, we inform you that the total losses of the invaders amounted to 41 military aircraft, including strategic bombers and other types of combat aircraft," the General Staff statement said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 1, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted Spider’s Web Operation to destroy strategic aviation aircraft of the aggressor country russia.
On June 1, the SSU stated that the estimated cost of the destroyed and damaged aircraft is USD 7 billion.
On June 3, the head of the communications department of the Air Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yurii Ihnat, stated that russian terrorist troops, due to the SSU Spider’s Web Operation, will not be able to carry out terrorist attacks on Ukraine for a long time.
