Air Defense Forces neutralize 69 enemy drones and 3 aircraft missiles at night

On the night of Saturday, May 31, russian troops launched 109 drones and 5 missiles over the territory of Ukraine, and Air Defense Forces managed to neutralize 69 UAVs and 3 missiles.

The press service of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of May 31 (from 7:30 p.m. on May 29), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 114 air attack vehicles:

- 107 Shahed-type strike UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Millerovo, Shatalovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - russia, Chauda - TOT Crimea;

- 2 jet attack UAVs (unidentified type) from the Belgorod Oblast – russian federation;

- 2 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Kursk Oblast – russian federation;

- 3 Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles from the airspace of the Belgorod Region – russian federation.

The main directions of the air strike were the Kharkiv, Sumy and Donetsk Regions.

"As of 08:30, air defense neutralized 69 enemy Shahed UAVs (drones of other types) and 3 Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles in the east, south, north and center of the country. 42 were shot down by fire weapons, 30 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare," the message says.

Enemy air attack weapons were hit in 13 locations.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of May 30, the russians launched 90 drones and two ballistic missiles over the territory of Ukraine, the Air Defense Forces managed to shoot down 26 UAVs, and another 30 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare.
