Russia says it will send same delegation to Istanbul for talks as on May 16
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the composition of the russian delegation for the second round of talks with Ukraine in Istanbul will remain unchanged. It was reported by the russian TASS agency.
Zakharova also said that Ukraine's position "is not clear" regarding the continuation of talks with russia.
The negotiating delegation is headed by an aide to the kremlin dictator Vladimir Medinsky. It also includes Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, Chief of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the russian Armed Forces Igor Kostyukov, and Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin.
The experts for the talks with Ukraine included: First Deputy Chief of the Information Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces A. Zorin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for State Policy in the Humanitarian Sphere E. Podobreevskaya, Director of the Second Department of the CIS Countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry A. Polishchuk, Deputy Head of the Main Department for International Military Cooperation of the Russian Ministry of Defense V. Shevtsov.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 16, negotiations between Ukraine and the aggressor country russia took place in Istanbul.
The head of the russian delegation, an assistant to the russian dictator, Vladimir Medinsky, said that the aggressor country russia had offered Ukraine a place and time for a new meeting.
Meanwhile, the day before, The Washington Post wrote, citing unnamed Ukrainian military and officials, that during the summer campaign, the russian army would launch a large-scale offensive in the Donetsk Region.
