On May 29, 173 combat clashes took place on the front, with the enemy attacking most of all on the Pokrovsk (66 clashes), Kursk (26) and Novopavlivka (24) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on its Facebook page, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched two missile strikes using three missiles on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements; carried out 81 air strikes, dropping 158 KABs.
In addition, the enemy carried out 5,882 attacks, 85 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,942 kamikaze drones to strike.

On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out 6 attacks near Druzhba, Nelipivka, and Toretsk.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the defenders stopped 66 offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Zoria, Popiv Yar, Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Troitske and Andriivka.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the Defense Forces stopped 24 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynopil, Bahatyr, Zelene Pole, Novopil, Vilne Pole and Novodarivka.
On the Orikhiv axis, 3 attacks were repelled near Stepove and Shcherbaky.
On the Dnieper axis, the enemy conducted one offensive action, but was unsuccessful.
On the Kursk axis (russian federation), 26 clashes took place.
The enemy launched 14 air strikes here using 26 guided aerial bombs and carried out 238 attacks, 11 of which were from MLRS.
There were no clashes on the Huliaipole axis over the past day.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 8 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, a control point, four artillery pieces and an air defense system of the russian invaders.
In total, the losses of the russian occupiers on May 28 amounted to 1,140 people.
