Ukrainians increase their real estate tax payments

In the first four months of 2025, real estate owners paid UAH 4.32 billion in real estate tax, other than land plots, which is 17.8% more than last year - in January-April 2024 they paid UAH 3.67 billion.

This is stated in the Tax Service's report, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Top payers:

- Kyiv – UAH 911.6 million;

- Kyiv Region – UAH 434.5 million;

- Dnipropetrovsk Region – UAH 428 million;

- Lviv Region – UAH 408.6 million.

This tax is paid by individuals - owners of:

- apartments over 60 sq. m;

- houses over 120 sq. m;

- other various types of housing, including their shares, over 180 sq. m.

In 2025, Ukrainians will pay taxes for 2024.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the State Tax Service reported that the number of millionaires who declared income for 2024 increased by more than 60% or 6,600 people to 17,000.
