Zelenskyy approves official composition of delegation for negotiations with russia

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed decree No. 306/2025, which approved the delegation to participate in peace talks in Istanbul. This is stated in the text of the decree of the head of state, posted on his official portal on Thursday, May 15.

"To form a delegation of Ukraine to participate in the negotiation process with Ukraine's international partners - delegations of the Republic of Turkey and the United States of America, as well as with representatives of the Russian Federation, scheduled for May 15-16, 2025 (Istanbul, Republic of Turkey), on achieving a just and lasting peace," the decree reads.

Delegation composition:

In addition, the head of the delegation may involve, in accordance with the established procedure, employees of state bodies, enterprises, institutions, organizations in agreement with their heads, scientific advisors and experts to ensure the work of the Ukrainian delegation.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 15, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy decided to send a delegation headed by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov to Istanbul for negotiations with the russian side.
