155 combat clashes took place on front during day, 70 of them on Pokrovsk axis
On May 11, 155 combat clashes took place on the front, the enemy attacked most of all on the Pokrovsk (70 clashes) and Lyman (25) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 65 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 125 guided bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out about 3,500 attacks, 114 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,443 kamikaze drones for destruction.
On May 11, 155 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, Ukrainian troops repelled three russian attacks on the Vovchansk area.
On the Kupiansk axis, there were two attacks by the invaders.
The defense forces repelled the enemy's assault actions in the areas of Nova Kruhliakivka and Zahryzove.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 25 times, trying to advance near the settlements of Kopanky, Hrekivka, Nove, Ridkodub, Kolodiazi and in the direction of Hryhorivka.
On the Siversk axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight attacks.
Units of the invaders tried to advance on the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhniokamianske.
On the Kramatorsk axis, four clashes were recorded on the areas of Novomarkove, Chasiv Yar and Andriivka.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out six attacks in the areas of Ozarianivka, Dyliivka and Toretsk.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 70 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Stara Mykolaivka, Vodiane Druhe, Nova Poltavka, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Novooleksandrivka, Kotliarivka, Troitske, Andriivka and Bahatyr.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the Defense Forces repelled 13 enemy attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynopil, Novosilka, Vilne Pole and Novopil.
On the Orikhiv axis, Ukrainian units repelled six enemy assaults near Mala Tokmachka, Stepove and Mali Shcherbaky.
On the Dnieper axis, the russians made one futile attempt to attack the positions of the Ukrainian defenders.
On the Kursk axis (russia) over the past day, eight combat clashes took place.
In addition, the enemy carried out four air strikes here using ten guided bombs, and also carried out 284 artillery attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and settlements, including eight with MLRS.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations on the Huliaipole axis.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 20 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, five artillery pieces, a military supply depot and a UAV control point of the russian occupiers.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on May 11 amounted to 1,170 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 9, 196 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest axes were the Pokrovsk (65 clashes) and Novopavlivka axes (31).
