Zelenskyy says he would personally wait for putin in Istanbul on Thursday

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he would personally arrive in Turkey on May 15, where he would wait for russian dictator vladimir putin. The head of state wrote about this on his Telegram channel on Sunday, May 11.

Zelenskyy stressed that a complete ceasefire should begin tomorrow. According to him, it is such a step that will provide the foundation for diplomatic efforts.

"We are waiting for a ceasefire from tomorrow - a complete and lasting one, to provide the necessary basis for diplomacy. There is no point in dragging out the killings. And I will wait for Putin on Thursday in Turkey. Personally. I hope that this time the Russians will not look for reasons why they cannot," the President of Ukraine emphasized.
