Ukraine ready to help Europe, where large-scale power outages occurred - Energy Minister

Ukraine is ready to provide assistance to European allies and partners in restoring power grids, as it has relevant experience due to attacks by the aggressor country of russia in the energy sector. This was reported by Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko on his Facebook account on Monday, April 28.

Halushchenko noted that Ukraine is always ready to help the countries of the European Union and is grateful to them for their support.

"Ukraine is ready to help in restoring the stable operation of the power grids of our partners and allies in Europe.

We are ready to share the knowledge and experience gained, in particular, during the systematic russian attacks on energy infrastructure. We are grateful to the EU countries for their support and are always ready to provide assistance!" the Energy Minister wrote.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 28, parts of Spain and Portugal were left without power due to a large-scale power outage, which caused chaos at airports, train stations, and on the roads.

On April 28, Serhii Kovalenko, director general of the electricity supply company Yasno, joked about European countries that experienced large-scale power outages.
