McDonald’s applies for trademark registration in the russian federation. This is reported by the russian publication RIA-Novosti.

The American corporation McDonald’s has applied to Rospatent to register its trademark “McDonald’s”.

According to the russian state agency, citing documents from the agency, the application was sent back in December 2024, and Rospatent has now accepted it for consideration.

Under the trademark “McDonald’s”, the company plans to produce and sell drinks and fast food in russia, provide restaurant services and deliver food.

Earlier, in the summer of 2024, Coca-Cola also registered its trademarks in the russian federation.

At that time, the company explained that applications for trademark registration in russia are intended to preserve intellectual rights.
