Trump releases merch for 2028 election
US President Donald Trump has launched sale of campaign merch with the words Trump 2028. Despite the fact that the US Constitution prohibits it, Trump wants to become president for the third time.
The Guardian reports this.
The merch is sold on the official Trump Store website. There are red caps for USD 50, T-shirts for USD 36 and thermos for drinks for USD 18. The product description says: "The future looks bright! Rewrite the rules".
The President's son Eric Trump also advertises his father's products and posted a photo where Eric appeared in a red cap with a new slogan.
The US Constitution states that "no person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice”, but Trump rejected this and publicly announced his intention to run for president in 2028. However, he has not yet made an official statement on this matter.
Recall, US President Donald Trump said that he would make America bigger, stronger and more religious.
Meanwhile, journalists were presented for the first time with a portrait of Donald Trump, painted by russian Nikas Safronov, which vladimir putin presented to the US President as a gesture of friendship.
