Russia shells Ukraine with guided aerial bombs and launches strike drones at Kyiv immediately after end of "truce"

After the end of the so-called "truce" declared by vladimir putin on Easter, the occupiers immediately began shelling the Sumy and Kharkiv Regions with guided aerial bombs, and also launched reconnaissance and strike UAVs over the northern regions of Ukraine. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Telegram.

At 00:30 am on Monday, April 21, an air alert sounded in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk Regions. Later, a threat was declared for the Chernihiv and Dnipropetrovsk Regions.

The Air Force warned of the threat of the enemy using aerial weapons for front-line regions. In particular, launches of guided aerial bombs by russian tactical aircraft on the Sumy and Kharkiv Regions were recorded.

Enemy reconnaissance UAVs also flew into the Chernihiv, Poltava, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Sumy Regions. Air defense forces were working on them.

The first sounds of explosions in the capital were heard at approximately 04:49 am. Before that, the military warned that drones were flying towards Kyiv from the northeast. The information was also confirmed by the Kyiv City Military Administration.

"An air alert has been declared in Kyiv due to the threat of enemy strike UAVs. We urge city residents to immediately go to the nearest shelters and stay there until the alert ends," the message said at 04:41 am.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russia violated the "silence regime" on Easter 3,000 times, Zelenskyy said.

Russian president vladimir putin has announced an "Easter truce," which allegedly involves a halt to all hostilities in Ukraine from the evening of April 19 to midnight on April 21.
