Holy Fire arrives in Ukraine

The Holy Fire was delivered to the territory of Ukraine on the night of April 19-20. It was met by Ukrainian border guards at the Ustyluh checkpoint on the border with Poland.

This was reported by the press service of the Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service.

The shrine was transported from Warsaw, and border guards took care of its prompt and safe crossing of the border. After arriving in Ukraine, the Holy Fire left for Kyiv, from where it will be delivered to temples, monasteries and parishes throughout the country.

Many churches are already preparing for a solemn meeting of the fire so that everyone who wishes can light their own candle from this shrine and bring its warmth to their own homes.

Meanwhile, in his Easter greetings to Ukrainians, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that despite a long period of suffering and struggle, truth and goodness will definitely prevail.

And during the Easter broadcast of church services from around the world, the American YouTube channel Live Now Fox made a gross mistake: Kyiv was listed as a russian city on the live broadcast.
