Zelenskyy proposes to Verkhovna Rada to extend martial law and mobilization until August
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposes to the Verkhovna Rada to extend martial law and mobilization from May 9 for 90 days, i.e. until August 7, 2025. The corresponding bills No. 13172 and 13173 were registered in the Rada on April 15, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In particular, the bills propose to approve decrees No. 235 and No. 236 of April 15, already signed by Zelenskyy, on extending the term of martial law in Ukraine and the term of general mobilization from May 9, 2025 for 90 days.
This will be the 15th vote of the parliament on these issues.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, on January 15, the Verkhovna Rada extended martial law and mobilization from February 8 for 90 days, i.e. until May 9, 2025.
On February 24, 2022, the Rada approved the introduction of martial law by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in connection with the start of the war by russia and the announcement and conduct of general mobilization.
