The servicemen of the Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down another reconnaissance drone Merlin-VR of the army of the aggressor country of russia. The cost of the device is estimated at over USD 300,000.

The video of the defeat of the russian UAV was published by the Come Back Alive foundation.

It is reported that the "bird" of the occupiers was shot down by servicemen of the 38th separate marine brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The expensive drone of the occupiers was destroyed in the Novopavlivske Axis (southwest of the Donetsk Region). When this happened is not specified.

It should be noted that the Ukrainian military shot down the russian reconnaissance drone with the help of, probably, an FPV drone.

Merlin-VR is a russian experimental reconnaissance drone. The drone was developed by the Research Institute of Modern Telecommunications Technologies. The device made its first flight in 2021.

The drone is designed for reconnaissance in automatic or semi-automatic modes. It is capable of staying in the air for up to 10 hours and covering a distance of 600 kilometers.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 8, it became known that UAV operators of the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a Merlin-VR drone in the Lyman Axis.
