Zelenskyy appoints businessman Havrysh as Ambassador to Norway
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed businessman Oleksii Havrysh as Ambassador of Ukraine to Norway. This is stated in decree No. 218 dated April 7, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"To appoint Oleksii Petrovych Havrysh as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Norway," the document states.
Oleksii Havrysh is a businessman, he positions himself as an expert in strategic and corporate management in energy and investment activities.
According to Havrysh's declaration, for 2024 he received UAH 4.2 million in salary as acting chairman of the board of LLC "Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine", since October 2022 he has been a member of the board of the national gas distribution operator.
Since August 2024, Havrysh has also been a member of the supervisory board of the Zaporizhtransformator plant, where, according to the declaration, he received UAH 685,500 in 2024.
Havrysh is also active in public activities and teaches at the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School, for which, according to the declaration, he received UAH 375,600 in 2024.
He was also a member of the Council of Exporters and Investors under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The position of Ukraine's Ambassador to Norway has remained vacant since July 2022, when Zelenskyy dismissed the previous Ambassador, Vyacheslav Yatsiuk.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy appointed former Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin as Ambassador to the Netherlands.
