"They are in storage." Zelenskyy calls on partners to transfer promised air defense
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed to Ukraine's partners and called on them to fulfill agreements on air defense that have not been implemented. His words were quoted by the Office of the President on Sunday, April 6.
Zelenskyy said that the aggressor country russia attacks Ukrainian cities every day. According to him, the occupiers used more than a hundred strike drones and 23 missiles of various types last night.
"We need to strengthen our air defense - this is an objective reality - and all agreements that were reached with partners but were not implemented need to be activated as much as possible. Patriots, which are now simply in storage somewhere with partners, should really protect lives," Zelenskyy stressed.
Ukraine can produce air defense systems and missiles for them, but this requires political decisions and appropriate licenses from partners: "...we must finally do what we agreed on," the head of state emphasized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of April 6, the aggressor country russia launched 23 missiles and 109 drones at Ukraine.
On April 6, Yurii Ihnat, head of the communications department of the Air Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that russia had changed the tactics of missile strikes on Ukraine.
As a result of the morning attack on Kyiv, one person was killed and 3 others were injured.
