Ukraine provides US with evidence of russia's violation of energy ceasefire
Ukraine has provided the United States with evidence of the aggressor country russia's violation of the moratorium on strikes on energy infrastructure facilities.
The Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Ihor Brusylo, stated this, as quoted by Ukrinform.
According to him, the American side was provided with all the necessary information about the facts of the violation of the energy ceasefire.
"I think that the reaction will not be long in coming, because even American partners are running out of patience," Brusylo said.
He stressed that the facts of the violation of the moratorium on strikes on the energy sector confirm that moscow is not interested in a ceasefire and, in general, in ending the war against Ukraine.
Recall, on March 25, the kremlin published a list of energy facilities that are prohibited from being struck within the framework of the energy ceasefire. At the same time, moscow stated that the moratorium on strikes allegedly began on March 18.
On that day, russian dictator vladimir putin allegedly ordered his army to stop attacking energy facilities on the territory of Ukraine.
Neither Ukraine nor the United States mentioned that the energy ceasefire came into effect on March 18. Kyiv and Washington announced it on March 25 after talks in Saudi Arabia.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 19, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the russian army continued to strike Ukrainian energy facilities, despite putin's order to supposedly stop it.
