Russia launches 74 drones over Ukraine. Details of night attack by Air Forces

On the night of Wednesday, April 2, the russian troops launched 74 drones over the territory of Ukraine, the air defense forces managed to shoot down 41 of them, another 20 drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).

The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of April 2 (from 8 p.m. on April 1), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 74 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (both – russia) and Cape Chauda (Crimea).

"As of 9:00 a.m., it has been confirmed that 41 Shahed attack UAVs (other types of drones) have been shot down in the north, south and east of the country. 20 enemy simulator drones have been lost in location (without negative consequences)," the report says.

The Kharkiv, Donetsk and Odesa Regions were affected by the russian attack.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of April 1, the russians launched 2 Kh-59/6957 guided aircraft missiles over the territory of Ukraine.

The air defense forces shot them down.

Meanwhile, the russians are disregarding the diplomatic efforts of their partners and continue to purposefully attack energy facilities.
