Russia shelling Ukraine's border areas with FPV drones, drop-offs and fiber-optic drones State Border Guard Service
Russian troops are shelling Ukraine's border areas with various types of drones. This was stated by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andrii Demchenko, during a telethon.
"I can also separately note that now the enemy prefers more attacks from drones. These are either drop-offs, or fiber-optic drones, or FPV drones, because previously the number of attacks using artillery weapons still prevailed. Now we see a certain change in the means that the enemy uses to strike at the Ukrainian border area," he said.
It is also reported that the enemy does not stop shelling the Kharkiv and Chernihiv Regions, with the Sumy Region suffering the greatest number of strikes. Here, russian troops are also using aviation to strike at the positions of Ukrainian defenders and at settlements.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of March 31 and in the morning, russian occupiers massively attacked the city of Kharkiv with strike drones, hitting, in particular, a civilian enterprise in the Kyivskyi district. There were casualties and damage to an educational institution and houses.
On the night of March 31, 49 russian drones were heading to Kyiv. Air defense forces destroyed 11 drones. There were no casualties or damage.
