Russia mocks peacekeeping initiatives, prolongs war and continues terror – President Zelenskyy on massive strike on Ukraine

Last night and evening, russia carried out one of the largest attacks on the territory of Ukraine, using more than 170 suicide drones, including more than 100 Iranian Shaheds.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this in his official address.

The attack covered several regions at once: the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi and Sumy Regions. The most extensive destruction was recorded in Dnipro, where rescue operations continued all night. As of now, four people are known to have been killed. Another 21 people were injured, including a pregnant woman.

The occupiers struck residential areas, infrastructure facilities and civilian buildings. In Dnipro, a hotel and restaurant complex, a car service, garages and private houses were damaged. The elimination of the consequences of the shelling is ongoing in all affected regions.

The President of Ukraine emphasized that such attacks demonstrate russia's real attitude towards the peacekeeping efforts of the international community.

"Russia mocks peacekeeping initiatives, prolongs the war and continues terror, because it still does not feel real pressure," Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

He emphasized that diplomatic measures can only yield results if they are reinforced by concrete actions that strengthen the Ukrainian army and deprive russia of resources for waging war.

"Partners know what can help, and it depends on America, Europe, and everyone in the world who wants effective diplomacy," the President emphasized.

Despite the massive attacks, Ukrainian air defense forces managed to destroy a significant part of enemy drones, but the threat of missile and drone strikes remains high. Ukrainian authorities and rescue services continue to eliminate the consequences of the attacks, providing the necessary assistance to the victims.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked everyone who saves lives after such attacks, helps to clear rubble and provides medical assistance.

"Our gratitude to everyone who supports Ukrainians in this fight," he concluded

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in the evening and night of March 29, the city of Dnipro was subjected to a massive attack by enemy drones, which led to the death of people, numerous injuries and significant destruction.
