Russia doubles number of missile carriers in Black Sea – Ukrainian Navy

This morning, two russian missile carriers with Kalibr complexes were spotted in the Black Sea, which can launch up to 8 cruise missiles. A day earlier, only one such ship was recorded.

The command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The military department informed that the enemy's ship group in the Black Sea, in the event of an attack, is capable of launching up to 8 Kalibr missiles in a general salvo.

The Navy also said that no enemy ships were observed in the Sea of ​​Azov on the morning of Saturday, March 28.

In addition, 4 russian ships were recorded in the Mediterranean Sea on Saturday morning, of which 3 are carriers of Kalibrs with a general salvo of up to 26 cruise missiles.

During the day, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait in the interests of the russian federation:

"The Russian Federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems," the Ukrainian Navy stated.
