King of Great Britain Charles III was forced to cancel a number of official events scheduled for Friday, March 28, after a brief hospitalization caused by "side effects" of cancer treatment. This was reported by the BBC with reference to a statement from Buckingham Palace.

Charles III reportedly spent a short period of time in hospital on Thursday, March 27, after experiencing "temporary side effects" of cancer treatment.

The King has now returned to his London residence, Clarence House. There, he continued to work on state documents and make phone calls from his office.

However, Charles III canceled his participation in public events in Birmingham on Friday, guided by the advice of doctors. In total, there were four events scheduled for today, March 28.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in February 2024, Buckingham Palace officially announced that King Charles III of Great Britain had been diagnosed with cancer.

Recall, on September 10, 2022, Charles III was officially proclaimed King of the United Kingdom.
