In Sumy, 40 children and 16 adults evacuated from destroyed school after russian missile strike
On the afternoon of March 24, russia launched a missile strike on Sumy, a school building in the city was partially destroyed, and fires are currently being extinguished. 40 children and 16 adults were evacuated from the site of the russian missile strike. Rescuers are also working to extinguish fires at several locations. So far, a fire has been extinguished in apartments in a five-story building with a total area of 150 sq.m., as well as a private house with an area of 50 sq.m.
According to the city council, 88 injured are currently known, including 17 children.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the afternoon of March 24, russian occupiers launched a missile strike on the center of Sumy, damaging several high-rise buildings and a school. The children were in shelters and were not injured. They are patrolling the high-rise buildings to provide assistance to the injured.
Earlier, russian occupiers attacked the Kyiv Region, resulting in a fire in a building site and a house in the Fastiv district, and a shopping center was damaged. A man was injured.
