Russians hit center of Sumy with missile, damaging high-rise buildings and school - Regional Military Administration
On the afternoon of March 24, the russian occupiers hit the center of Sumy with a missile, damaging several high-rise buildings and a school. The children were in shelters and were not injured. They are conducting a tour of the high-rise buildings in order to provide assistance to the injured.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Artiukh.
"The enemy launched a missile strike on the center of the city. Several high-rise buildings and a school were damaged. The children were in a protective structure, they are being evacuated now. Everyone is alive and well," he said.
Rescue services are currently working to eliminate the consequences, fires.
"We are conducting a tour of the high-rise buildings to provide assistance to the injured," he added.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier, russian occupiers attacked the Kyiv Region, causing a fire in a construction site and a house in the Fastiv district, and damaging a shopping center. A man was injured.
