Russian defense ministry complains about massive drone attack on 6 oblasts and occupied Crimea

The russian defense ministry complained about a massive drone attack. It is reported that in 6 regions of the russian federation and in the occupied Crimea, air defense forces shot down 59 Ukrainian drones. This was stated by the russian defense ministry.

"Over the past night, 59 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed and intercepted by regular air defense means," the message says.

It is noted that the following were allegedly shot down:

• 29 UAVs - over the territory of the Rostov Oblast;
• 20 UAVs - over the territory of the Astrakhan Oblast;
• 3 UAVs - over the territory of the Voronezh Oblast;
• 3 UAVs - over the territory of the Volgograd Oblast;
• 2 UAVs - over the territory of the Republic of Crimea;
• 1 UAV - over the territory of the Kursk Oblast;
• 1 UAV – over the territory of the Saratov Oblast.

According to the acting governor of the Rostov Oblast, due to a UAV attack on the highway in the region, "a car caught fire, a person was killed in the car".

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a local oil refinery was on fire in Tuapse, russia. It was attacked the day before, on the night of March 14.

Also, on the morning of March 14, the capital of the russian federation, Moscow, and the Moscow Oblast were attacked by drones. Explosions erupted there and smoke was produced due to the work of air defense. The mayor of Moscow announced the shooting down of four drones.
