Air defense forces shoots down 100 of 179 enemy drones at night

On the night of Saturday, March 22, russian troops launched 179 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 100 of them, another 63 drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).

The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of March 22 (from 7:30 p.m. on March 21), the enemy attacked with 179 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the axiss: Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all – russia) and Cape Chauda (TOT Crimea).

"As of 8:30 a.m., it has been confirmed that 100 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been shot down on the south, north and center of the country. 63 enemy simulator drones have been lost in location (without negative consequences)," the report says.

The Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy and Kyiv Regions were affected by the russian attack.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of March 21, the russians launched 214 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 114 of them, another 81 drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).
