The day before, the governor of Saratov Oblast Roman Busargin warned of a possible drone attack, but the russian authorities have not yet provided details about the consequences of the shelling.

At 05:15 am, governor Busargin said that the attack in Engels damaged the windows of the local hospital, and one woman was injured and is receiving medical care.

In addition, he reported that on March 20, classes in Engels schools will be held remotely.

Meanwhile, russian Telegram channels are reporting new explosions and smoke in Engels. According to unconfirmed reports, a military airfield was attacked.

A private house also burned down in the Sokolovaya Gora area after a drone attack.

Later, Busargin said that this attack was the largest ever.

Local channels report that residents living near the Engels military airfield have begun to be evacuated.
