RF strikes 5 times during rescue operation in hospital in Sumy Region

The russian federation struck five times during a rescue operation in the territory of a hospital in the Krasnopil community of the Sumy Region, which was attacked by drones.

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.

"During the rescue operation, the enemy struck five more times," the report says.

In addition, a shelter in which 22 patients were trapped, including seven with limited mobility, was partially destroyed. Rescuers managed to quickly free everyone and transfer them to a safe place.

There were no civilian casualties, a total of 60 people were evacuated.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 11, Artiukh said that all children had been evacuated from 90 settlements in the Sumy Region, which are located near the border with the aggressor country of russia.

On March 13, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Volodymyr Artiukh announced the evacuation of 8 settlements in the Yunakivska and Myropilska communities. As of now, a number of settlements in the region are preparing to evacuate the population. In particular, the Krasnopil village council called on residents of 19 settlements to leave the territory. This is almost half of the villages and settlements in the community. Residents of the villages of Novodmytrivka, Riasne, Hrabovske, Vysoke, Mezenivka, Maiske, Slavhorod, Porozok, Verkhnia Pozhnia, Novooleksandrivka, Lisne, Zemliane, Naumivka, Mykhailivka, Mykhailivske, Petrushivka, Okip, as well as the villages of Uhroyidy and Krasnopillia are recommended to evacuate.
