The White House and the kremlin confirmed that the phone call between US President Donald Trump and russian dictator vladimir putin has ended. It lasted about two and a half hours. Reuters reported this on Tuesday, March 18.
The kremlin said that the talks were over. The White House noted that the conversation lasted about 2.5 hours. Now the US President is expected to hold a press conference following the dialogue with the russian president.
"Kirill Dmitriev, whom Putin appointed last month as his special envoy for international economic and investment cooperation, said that under the leadership of Trump and Putin, the world has become much safer," the report said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 18, US President Donald Trump and russian dictator vladimir putin began a telephone conversation at 4:00 PM (2:00 PM GMT).
The White House named the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant as one of the topics of the talks.
Recall, on March 14, Trump said that russian dictator vladimir putin was willing to agree to the proposal for a temporary ceasefire.
