Rivneazot resumes work after forced shutdown

PrJSC Rivneazot, part of the OSTCHEM nitrogen holding, has fully resumed production of mineral fertilizers and brought key workshops to planned capacity. The company reported this in a comment to Latifundist.com.

The capacity of the loaded ammonia line is 650 tons per day, of unconcentrated nitric acid - 1,000 tons per day. The ammonium nitrate workshop will reach a production capacity of 40,000 tons per month.

"The ammonia plant (A-2), the non-concentrated nitric acid plant and the ammonium nitrate plant have been launched. The enterprise is fully supplied with the necessary gas for fertilizers. Start-up work has been completed, and shipments of finished products have already begun. Within a few days, the plants will reach full capacity. The enterprise will continue to continuously meet the demand of farmers for mineral fertilizers in accordance with the concluded contracts," emphasized Mykhailo Zabluda, Chairman of the Board of PrJSC Rivneazot.

In February, the enterprise was urgently stopped due to significant interruptions in electricity supply.
